　　Yangtze River Tunnel Bridge. It has two parts: the tunnel and the bridge, hence the name. The tunnel bridge is 25.5 km long. The tunnel’s length is 8.9 Km, and the bridge’s length is 16.6 Km.

　　It takes 12.7 billion RMB. The tunnel joins the Pudong District and Changxing Island. the bridge joins Changxing island and Chongming island. 　　dream come ture. In past years, local people went to downtown by ship, because the waterway is the only way. In Chongming we have 7 passenger terminals, 16 ship routes. In bad weather, it’s inconvenient. The tunnel bridge was opened to traffic last year. Now it only takes one hour from Chongming to Pudong District.
